Health as a Three Legged Stool

In Alphabiotics we look at overall health as a three legged stool.  The stool is held up and balanced by three distinct systems or legs.

                                                The legs are:

                                                Structural

                                                Internal and

                                                Emotional

All three systems must be strong for the body to experience maximum health.  If any one leg is weak, the other legs try to compensate for the weakness and overall health can be compromised.

You work to keep your physical body in balance through regular alignments, exercise and food choices, yet you are still experiencing some discomfort. Since beginning the Bio-communication scans, I have been getting so many questions about the scans and metabolism that I have added a Metabolic Assessment Survey to more specifically define and pinpoint systems that may be out of balance.

What will the Metabolic Assessment Survey tell us and how does it tie into Bio-communication?  Let’s start with a few simple questions.

1.       Do you have aches, pains and/or swelling throughout your body?

2.       Do you experience excessive burping, belching and bloating?

3.       Do you feel hungry just 2 hours after having eaten?

4.       Do you like something sweet right after a meal?

5.       Do you have difficulty losing weight?

6.       Are your hands and/or feet often cold?

7.       Do you have salt cravings?

If you answered YES to ANY of these, you may be experiencing a metabolic imbalance.

The combination of the Alphabiotic Alignment and the Bio-communication scan, is the fastest and most effective way of bringing systems that are being unduly stressed, back into a normal state of functioning.

The human body is an amazing organism and we armor ourselves in various ways and what affects one part affects the other parts.  When our physical body is out of balance or in pain, this causes stress on other systems as they work to compensate.  Compensation can take a toll on us emotionally and/or psychologically as well.  If we are in chronic pain, we may become irritable or depressed.

We exercise to raise our endorphins and increase metabolism.  We try to eat a nutritionally balanced diet, yet we notice that we are still not feeling our best.  If our body and metabolic systems cannot properly assimilate nutrients we will not improve.

Bio-Communication FAQ

What is Bio-communication?
Bio-communication was developed under the premise that your      body is energetically connected and in communication with itself to achieve and maintain overall health.

How is it done?
Bio-communication is done with software developed by ZYTO technology and essentially asks your body questions and records the answers.  This is your body’s opportunity to “talk” to you!  This information is then used to help you proactively maintain your health.

The Bio-communication scan is done by placing your hand over a hand cradle which is connected to a computer.  By placing your hand on the ZYTO hand cradle, subtle energetic impulses are introduced to your body. The responses to this communication are recorded by the ZYTO software.  While a few people may be able to detect the subtle communication, most people do not realize the scan is even occurring.

How long does it take?
The ZYTO scan can be done very quickly, usually no longer than 15 minutes.  The interpretation of the scan also takes about 15 minutes.

How do you decide what systems to read?
The most common things that affect our bodies are the environment and food, so these are usually scanned in addition to the organs so we can see which part of the body is under the most stress.  If someone comes in with a particular presenting problem, then a scan can be done based on those symptoms or issues.

What will I learn from the scan?
The scan confirms how the body is interconnected and how when one system is out of balance, all other systems are affected.  Through Bio-communication, you can address the problem where it is originating instead of treating symptoms through other systems.

What is the protocol after a scan?
The scan will reveal where the body is out of balance internally and which areas are most adversely affected.  Depending on the results of the scan, I may recommend that you add a remedy to your daily supplement regimen. Sometimes, more than one remedy would be beneficial, but it depends on the presenting issue and the result of the scan.

How will I know if the remedies are working?
You will know if the remedies are working within 3-5 days as your symptoms will start to dissipate.  You will be looking for small or subtle changes as your body begins to detox and adjust to becoming balanced.

How often do I have to get tested?
Depending on the symptoms and presenting issue, a retest could be done within two weeks, but usually within one month. Every BODY is different and we want a smooth transition to the new protocol.  Some people are more sensitive than others and require less or more, depending on the length of time the symptom has existed and the severity of the symptom.

Then what?
If the symptoms disappear, then the remedies may no longer be needed, but the re-test will show what the next step is for each person.  One remedy may need to be continued depending on the severity of the presenting symptom.

What is the price for a scan?
$40 – for an organ scan only
$75 – for organ, environment and food scan
$125 for a one hour session

A session includes a scan and interpretation with remedy recommendations.  Most sessions will last about 30 minutes, and I would be happy to discuss with you whether a 30 min or 60 minute session would be best for you.

How does this tie into the Alphabiotic Alignment?
By keeping internal meridians aligned through the Alphabiotic Alignment process, the remedies work faster and more efficiently because they are better able to move through the body.

Bio-Communication

Alphabiotic Balance Center is pleased to introduce

BIO-COMMUNICATION

I hope this service will enhance your
overall well-being, by bringing your
core systems back in balance.

Have you ever wished you knew what your body
was saying when it sends you signals?

You know – those feelings of uneasiness,
that “funny” feeling you get,
goose bumps, even a low grade headache.
What are those aches and pains saying?

If our body could just talk to us and tell us
what’s wrong, we would take steps to fix it, right?

This year, the Alphabiotic Balance Center is introducing Bio-Communication a service
I feel will help you understand some of the
messages your body may be sending.

Bio-communication is done using ZYTO Technology.

The information gained from a
Bio-communication scan can assist
you in gaining and maintaining optimal health.

Bio-communication was developed under the premise that your body is energetically connected and in communication with itself to achieve and maintain overall health. While the scan is not designed to diagnose or recommend treatments, it will provide information that will help your internal functioning
become more balanced.

A scan is done on different systems in the body
depending on one’s request or presenting problems.
The most common systems scanned are
organs, environment, and food. The scan confirms how the body is interconnected and how when one system is out of balance, other systems are also affected. Through Bio-communication,
you can address the problem where it is originating instead of treating symptoms through other systems.

We hope you will take advantage of this new service to enhance your overall journey to health.

Acheive Your Goals in 2013

Wow the end of another year is upon us!  I can hardly believe it.  As I look back on the year, I start to think about the goals I set for myself and whether or not I accomplished any of them.  Did something derail me somewhere along the way?  What goals will I set for the upcoming year?

I think one of the biggest pieces in reaching a goal is having the right support.  Who supports you in achieving your goals?  As we move into the new year, we at The Alphabiotic Balance Center want to support you in achieving your goals of health.  We are very excited about some new services and features we are adding and hope that they will enhance your Alphabiotic alignment experience.

“I always wanted to be something, but now I see I should have been more specific.”    Lily Tomlin

Maybe being more specific is the key.  I did some research and this is what I found:

1.   Set the right goals – What does this mean?  To me, it means setting goals that make sense for my life style, things that would enhance my overall quality of life.  This could include goals about the kinds of food I eat, the amount of exercise I incorporate into a weekly routine.

      2.  Take small concrete steps – Sometimes my goals seem unattainable because I am focused on the end result.  But if I break it down into smaller steps, it becomes much more manageable.   For example, if my goal is about the kinds of food I eat, I may want to set a goal to have something two times a week instead of 5.  This is a smaller step and much easier to manage. It’s also measurable so results can be seen right away!

     3.  Reward yourself along the way – Depending on your goal, this can be a bit tricky!  Do celebrate your successes along the way.  This gives us concrete evidence that we are in fact achieving what we set out to accomplish and can provide encouragement to keep going.  Sometimes when I achieve a goal, I tend to discount my efforts and say – it was not a big deal.  But it really was!

     4.  Consider slip-ups to be part of the process – Consider this a journey, a process.  I always expect perfection from myself, and when I have a slip-up, I am really hard on myself.  I have to take a step back and act as if I am talking to someone else.  What would I tell that person?  This makes it easier for me to keep moving forward.

Anything you do to an extreme you can extremely fail… so let’s do something extremely new to set the right course of action to be successful.

We are proud and honored to have been part of your journey to health this past year and look forward to continuing the journey as we move into 2013.

Happy holidays to you and your family!

First Year Retrospect...

I can hardly believe it’s been a year since I first signed the lease on the office.  So much has happened in that year I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect back on the past 12 months.

I first became interested in Alphabiotics as a result of my work in veterinary clinics.  I know an odd segue to be sure!  I was so amazed and actually disappointed in how much veterinary medicine relied on the practices of traditional medicine which I saw as a band-aid for what was really happening. It seemed to me that there had to be a more efficient way to treat the disease AND the discomfort.  This led to an exploration into other treatment modalities which eventually led me to the study of stress and the negative effects it has on all of us, including our pets!

Stress has become a buzz word lately and affects everyone on a daily basis. We’ve talked about this in some of our previous newsletters – simple vs. complex stress and the fight or flight syndrome.  Every day we are affected by stress of all types and each body handles and processes it differently.  The common thread through every discussion about stress is that it has long term detrimental consequences for each of us.    Many diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, chronic headaches can all be related to ongoing, unresolved stress.  We go to the doctor and get medication or other treatments for these diseases, but what about the underlying cause – STRESS??

The desire to assist people in relieving chronic stress under which they live and restore them to a balanced state, where they could live happier and healthier lives, led me to the study of The Alphabiotic Unification System. Since I began the study and practice of Alphabiotics, every day I am reminded of why this is an important piece of an overall health regimen.

It is such an inspiration to see the benefits the people get from the alignment process.  I hear so many stories of positive effects I wanted to share some of those stories with you.  I have several clients that after just the first alignment, they come back and say they slept through the night for the first time in years, without the use of medications.  Several clients have reported a marked decrease in the use of prescription drugs for pain.  This is phenomenal to me – because they are reducing the effect on the physical body of prescription drugs.  They feel more clear headed and report that they are more level – headed.  Even eating patterns are affected!  Several people have reported that cravings for certain foods have not only decreased, but completely disappeared.

For some people when they come in for the first time and lay on the table there is a feeling of anticipated relief that they actually cry or laugh hysterically.  Both laughing and crying offer a release of stress that only enhances the alignment.

After an alignment, I have had people tell me they have a feeling of euphoria.  Some clients fall into a deep restful sleep right on the table and wake up feeling more refreshed than they have felt in a long time.

These kinds of results are what keep me coming to the office every week, and working so hard to get the word out about Alphabiotics. The results of an Alphabiotic Alignment are far beyond the results people are getting through traditional methods and medication.  Every one of you is truly an inspiration to me.  Thank you for your continued trust and allowing me to serve you in this way.

Types of stress

Types of Stress Stress. This is a word we hear almost every day. "I'm so stressed out" is a common expression. What is stress? Where does it come from and how can we get rid of this unwanted condition? There are basically two types of stressful events that we experience. The first type of stress is simple stress, and involves pain and/or emotions. These events have a defined beginning and a definite end. Sometimes we know about the events ahead of time, and though they are planned, we feel anxious or stressed until they actually happen, when we can finally breath a sigh of relief. An example of a simple stress event that we know about is a job interview or a first date. Other times these simple stress events are not planned.

Recently I took a friend to the airport and when we got there, she couldn't find her wallet, with her passport, identification, money and credit cards. All things essential for travel. She panicked! There was not enough time to go home and come back, if she had indeed left it at the house. We searched the car and tore everything apart. On the second sweep, the wallet was found stuck under one of the seats. What a relief! But at the same time, you can imagine the panic.

Acute physical, chemical or mental stress that has a well-defined beginning and end are things we are well designed to handle. It's the pervasive, on-going, ever-present stress of day-to-day living that is a major cause of turmoil and suffering. This persistent chronic low level stress, comprised of complex stressors is the villain that saps our energy and life force. Complex stress includes things like time pressures, money worries, job challenges, health concerns, family issues and environmental pollution. These are unrelenting and seemingly without end. The body becomes trapped in a defensive, reactive state, waiting for the moment when we can exhale and let go.

Everyone reacts to stress differently and each body sends out its own set of red flags. According to the American Psychological Association, some people may not even feel the physical or emotional warning signs until hours or days of stressful activities have passed. However, when you notice a stiff back or that you are snapping at friends, pay attention to the signs and listen to what your body is telling you.

The warning signs of stress are not to be taken lightly or ignored. By noticing how you respond to stress, you can manage it better and in healthy ways, which will help your body correct itself, reducing the high cost of care for chronic, long-term health problems. Many diseases and physical ailments can be directly attributed to a more stressful lifestyle.

What are the best treatments and what can be done to relive the stress? The hands-on physical practice of Alphabiotics has proven to be one of the most effective and beneficial ways of relieving stress. Stress release experienced through Alphabiotics allows your body and mind to work together to decrease tension and increase strength. In balance, your life works better in every way!
